Lanoguard is a versatile corrosion/rust prevention and waterproofing spray and grease product with a range of features making it perfectly suited to protecting vehicles. The underbody of your vehicle can often be neglected so this is the perfect solution to prevent corrosion forming and existing corrosion spreading.
Inner wheels arch covers out, undercovers offs. A full steam clean or heavy degrease jet wash to the underbody of the vehicle, an inspection of underbody condition, we use a wire brush to brush off any flaking/loose rust, paint and or past underseal.
A full grease treatment to weld seams, nuts, bolts, sharp edges, mating surfaces and anywhere moisture can gather should have a grease treatment in the first year followed by a full spray treatment over the whole underbody (avoiding brakes and fan belts) including an internal injection to box sections, sills, subframes, slam panels, and inner chassis. This is the most expensive treatment, as it is the most time consuming and thorough initial treatment.
Cold jet wash to underbody, inspection of the previous coating and vehicle. (no steam will be used as this can remove the initial year 1 lanoguard coating) The grease will still be in place doing its job, but this will be checked and re applied if required. In the second year it recommend giving a full coating of the lanoguard protection on exposed underbody areas and also under the undertrays, to top up the coating and insure continuous protection. Box sections and inner chassis are optional.
